My journey through academia and professional realms has been an odyssey spanning decades, brimming with diverse experiences and scholarly accomplishments.
My academic ascent reached its zenith in 2018 when I was honored with the prestigious title of Full Professor in Materials Science. This esteemed recognition underscored my unwavering dedication to scholarship and research.
Embarking on my professional endeavors, I assumed the mantle of Head of the Department of High-Temperature Ceramic Matrix Composites at the Frantsevich Institute for Problems of Materials Science, Ukrainian Academy of Science, Kyiv, in 1995. Here, my responsibilities encompassed pioneering research and managerial oversight in the realm of advanced ceramics.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I also delved into the realm of executive leadership, serving as the Executive Director of the Laboratory of Advanced Ceramics in Berlin. This role afforded me the opportunity to amalgamate research, production, and marketing efforts in the domain of refractory materials and ceramic heating elements.
In essence, my professional journey epitomizes a lifelong commitment to scholarly excellence, characterized by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a steadfast dedication to advancing the boundaries of materials science.
